Don't let their cute little faces deceive you, this pair was out to nibble! I found them at an old farmhouse B&B. The stall looked empty, they had to stand on "hoof point" to see out!!

I put this photograph up for enjoyment only. This wee baby draft colt was soliciting passing tourists to come and play with him. He didn't even have any teeth yet, and liked to gum and slobber on anything he got in his mouth. I would say he was around 10 days old and showed NO fear of humans, in fact, he welcomed their company. Mom was close by and she was a grand horse! One blue eye and the same markings as her colt, and just as friendly. I hope this photo makes you smile, that is the purpose of it being on the site. |
