Kilclooney Dolmen 
Kilclooney Dolmen
Not far from Ardara, stands a pair of portal dolmens, known 
as the beds of  Diarmaid and Grainne.  Based on
famous stories from Irish mythology The great roof stone
is 4.2 meters long. Kilclooney was thought
to be built around 3500 B.C.

Browneshill Infrared

This dolmen receives a steady stream of 
visitors, but the location is out in the middle
of a field surrounded by a fence, which slims 
down a chance for several different angles
of the dolmen. The fence comes right around
the back of the dolmen.
